We are very honored you have taken the time to visit www.40thFieldArtillery.org, a tribute site, honoring the soldiers and family members of 'A' Battery 40th Field Artillery, MLRS - 3rd Armored Division Artillery - Francois Kaserne - Hanau, Germany 1987-1992. To this day, I am grateful for having served with this group of soldiers, whom I believe, reside among the finest military units ever assembled to serve this nation, in both peace and war.

40thFieldArtillery.org was built to recognize and bring due credit not only to the soldiers A/40th, MLRS, but to all whom have served with the 40th Field Artillery Regiment and adhere to her motto, "All for One!" As well, 40thFieldArtillery.org serves as a place where we can memorialize our 'Brothers' whom have, for various reasons, fallen along the way.

40thFieldArtillery.org DOES NOT exist to 'make a profit.' In fact, this website operates at a significant loss and has from day one. To continue delivering the great story of A/40th MLRS, the 40th Field Artillery Regiment and quality website content in general, your support is greatly needed and very much appreciated.

The first page of 40thFieldArtillery.org was uploaded to the Internet in early February of 2009. In the time since, 40thFieldArtillery.org has grown to more than 220 web pages, a monumental feat. Together we have created the largest, single unit web site, on the Internet, receiving more than 10,000 visitors a month!

40thFieldArtillery.org is rapidly becoming a global resource. Our site receives visitors daily, from all points on Earth. The world has shown great interest in our portrayal of life in a modern, highly trained and combat proven military unit. However, there is a call from many persons to further expand 40thFieldArtillery.org’s Internet presence, to cover World War II, Vietnam and early years of the Cold War.

In order to keep this website operational, or even begin considering the numerous requests for expansion, we need support. Support from everyone:Veterans, family members, friends, interested persons and anyone who just feels generous and wants to help support this testimony of pride and patriotism.
